Art history, art movements, biennales and art festivals are belonging to a linear art system. When human beings enter the 21st century and welcome the globalization, Art has never been brimming with such various possibilities as today, especially on the basis of an integration ofelectronic information and internet platform, over night, differences of the earth, differences of nations and differences of Art are all narrowed and duplicated infinitely which seems to bring a revolution to Art again, while, such revolution does not come from the inside of Art but the outside of Art. The real world we live in is interfered by electronic informationconstantly and Art also has never stood at the crossroad of its history again like today, in front of which it is an endless virtual world and in back of which it is a spiritual history of human beings, around which it is a real world in which there is no time difference and even the cultural differences have been gradually consumed by the real consumption society. So, for anyone living in the real world, they are not only themselves but also the others, and all the judgments one has made are almost spread by information. The traditional galleries, art galleries, broker system and the so-called game rules of fine arts established after 1950s have begun to shake, and artists, art galleries, brokers and biennales are being shocked by more and more personalized electronic arts, of course, as well as by the body art which is more common and in danger of becoming the community culture; and at this moment, in a village gallery of China and its surrounding areas within dozens of square kilometers, to hold an art festival for an academic concept can be said to be a kind of reactionary activity to the fine arts trend mentioned above. I think that it is an art festival in its true sense which is held anthropologically, sociologically and ethnographically under the background of regions and the anthropology of China’s real society, including the geological features, mountains, rivers, sand dunes and forests, and also including folk customs, Manchu residence, Mongolian residence and Han residence. It is a completely open art festival. And it opens to all the artists of the world, and the works of these artists can be exhibited directly in these geological features and the residences with which to form an interactive relationship directly. It can be images, photographs, traditional medias, installations, sculptures, coloured drawings, murals,behaviours, performances, literature, poetry and music, etc. Therefore, it is a post-human art festival that has completely integrated the modern information together with local history and local people, and it is an art festival completed totally in a village which not only avoids themetropolis in the art history but also avoids the museum exhibition system in the metropolisof the art history, just because of this, this kind of art festival itself is a challenge to art festivals. Therefore, this art festival has invited 13 curators from all over the world to face the challenge with various units and various themes and to make it become an art project, which is also an interdisciplinary and cross-art attempt to the subject of combining nomadic civilization with agricultural civilization.

我们希望北京古城胡同被拆掉的悲剧不要再重演 ，原生态是最好的生态 ，拆是最恶劣的行为！均衡发展才是理性地阻挡拆拆拆。

2009年12月29日在已是废墟一片的创意正阳艺术区点起的“冬天里的第一把火”的火种，已经传到了相毗邻的008国际艺术区。“暖冬”计划的第二站，“暖冬”——008艺术区 “解决”展将于2010年1月12日下午14时正式开幕。
008艺术区占地面积20万平方米，园区分为A、B、C、D四大区域，原有150余名艺术家入住。自2007年底建成至今，仅一年多时间却未能逃脱拆迁的厄运。2009年11月19日，开发商突发腾退令；12月6日开始停水；12月17日起A区停电断暖，开始强拆； 2010年元旦期间，拆迁队不顾国家法规仍然每天进行强拆，与艺术家们不断发生冲突斗殴。目前，还有十多位艺术家坚守在园区内。
面对违法、暴力拆迁带来的种种难题和困境，008艺术区的艺术家们决定团结起来。09年12月20日下午，他们手持从拆迁废墟中捡来的砖头，眼睛死死盯着远方，静立1个小时，以“砖头党”的集体行为艺术发出了“团结就是力量!”的心声。
008艺术家同盟表示：“我们没有更多需求，仅提出最基本的生存要求。我们试过很多办法，向社会各界呼吁，却改变不了现状。今天，我们试图以艺术的形式在‘暖冬’里寻找出‘解决’我们困境的办法。”
“暖冬”——008艺术区“解决”展，希望通过“暖冬”计划的艺术尝试，得到社会各界更多的关注与声援。依靠政府支持，寻求法律援助；我们期望艺术家们通过“暖冬”中的取暖，增进交流；同心同德；严惩奸商；合法维权；一起共建和谐社会。相信“暖冬”过后，阳春三月！

因强拆造成新人间惨剧而成为近期媒体焦点的创意正阳艺术区是 “暖冬”计划的第一站，“暖冬”——创意正阳艺术区展。
将于2009年12月29日揭开帷幕。
2007年至今，50余位中外艺术家进驻这个拥有一万多平米艺术家工作室的园区从事艺术创作，他们和开发商签署的租赁合同均为五年时限。2009年11月26日，开发商突发“腾退令”，勒令毫无准备的艺术家们在12月4日前无条件搬走，表示绝不赔偿。11月28日，拆迁队伍进入园区强拆；12月4日，开发商及物业撤离并卷走艺术家们预付的各种费用共计31万元。12月5日清晨在零下九度的低温下，园区开始断电停暖；12月13日起艺术区完全停水；12月19日开发商雇人强行拖走艺术家们集资租来的发电机，导致双方发生争执斗殴……
一个多月来恶性冲突此起彼伏，无处可去的艺术家们仍坚守在拆得一片狼藉的艺术区内，目前有 42户一百二十多人继续留守，上至六十多岁的老人，下有两三岁的孩子。严冬中，他们冻得瑟瑟发抖，却相互依偎着，彼此取暖……
我们希望通过这次“暖冬——创意正阳艺术区”首展的艺术尝试，抛砖引玉，就拆迁而产生的艺术家生存困境等问题，引发起社会各界更多的关注。依靠政府的支持，寻找法律援助；严惩奸商，合法维权。我们也期望艺术家们通过“暖冬”中的取暖，增进交流﹑同心同德，一起共建和谐社会。相信“暖冬”过后，阳春三月！

“Warm Winter”—the art exchange programme touring in 20 art zones, is a series of art activities participated by the artists who live in different art zones in Beijing. It includes: art zone exchange exhibitions; live art and performances; seminar series mainly about “Artists Living Condition Dialogues” and “The Future of Art Zones” ; extensional documentary exhibitions and so on.
Focusing on the removal difficulties of artists living in art zones of Chaoyang district, plenty of problems and clashes between artists and property developers (Zhengyang Creative Art Zone, 008 Art Zone and so on) and shortage of emotional and artistic communications, “Warm Winter” intends to promote exchanges and interactions of the artists through a series of art activities and share with each other for warmth to tide over the hard winter!
In these days, Zhengyang Creative Art Zone, the first step of “Warm Winter” programme, has been the media focus because of the tragic conditions caused by the forcible demolition of the artists’ houses. From 2007 till now, more or less 50 Chinese and foreign artists worked here with 5 years’ leasing contracts.
On November 26, 2009, the developer suddenly ordered all artists to “move out of the place” before December 4, 2009 without any corresponding compensation. On November 28, the demolition squad began to pull down houses by force; On December 4, the property personnels left the place and the developer took away 310,000 RMB pre-paid by artists; On the morning of December 5, the electricity and the healing was off at a temperature of -9 °C; On December 13, the water supply had been completely suspended and on December 19, the generators just rented by artists had been took over by the person hired by the developer which was the rising tide of clashes between the two sides.……
Such violent conflicts last for more than one month and the homeless artists still stay in ruins. As we know, there are almost 42 families with 120 people including the olds over 60 and the children under 2-3 years’ old, all shivered in Zhengyang Creative Art Zone.
We hope that the first exhibition of “Warm Winter” will be given more attentions on the difficult living conditions of artists from various circles of society. Relying on the government support and legal aid, we expect all the artists to share warm together and strengthen expression and cooperation. We believe that after the “Warm Winter”, there will be spring!

■概 要：国界被时间与空间打破，个人的国家归属感被模糊。年轻的艺术家有更加国际化的生活背景，或生于中国，长于美国，辗转于日本、欧洲。艺术创作已不再单单只是所属国籍的文化承袭。个人的艺术创作更多的体现为个体存在的特殊经历。"我"就是"我"，"我"不属于任何国家。艺术家的作品更成为国际化文化融合的历史见证，文化的杂糅、嫁接体现在不同生存经历的艺术家的作品中。艺术作品更加个体化，更加多样化，更加无厘头，更具吸引力。
